How much memory do you use?

How much memory do you use ?

When I first bought my Canon IDs Digital Camera, I bought 1 Gb memory card
thinking that it would be enoung on any eventuality.
I now have three 1 GB cards and one 30 GB flash track.

Its amazing how fast you can get through it when your out on a shoot.

How did I ever manage with film ?

hehe i only have 1 1GB and 1 256MB... hehe bitin!!!!! la pa budget eh... planning to buy 1 1GB this month...

I have 512 mb XD card.

I guess that the digital able to give us alot of "garbage" shots that in film we were never risk to take.

ugh don't remind me about film. i would get so depressed developing a reel.. about 5% would be nice and the rest would be trash. digital really saved my money actually.

ummm.. so far i haven't spent that much. i have 3 memory cards at 256 so i just rotate them.. if i'm shooting with one, i'll be uploading the other on to a laptop or computer.

if i had money though i'd buy lights first of all. and then good backgrounds. and THEN good lenses. and THEN a stronger camera. and then a wicked laptop with a shiny pink letter "B" sticker on it so everyone knows it's mine. and then a studio ...

I have to agree that using digital would entitle to lots of 'garbage' shots... that usually fills up the card easily... i'm just the average point and shoot person so i guess 128MB is just enough (although for a 4 day vacation i wouldn't be enough

)... I have a film SLR and after a few rolls i just gave it up because I was spending too much money on developing

Just an average hobbyist, I have a 256MB, which is enough for me.

Ofcourse, if the cash will flow, I can manage a couple of Gigs.

Never stop wishing. Someday that star will fall.

512 for the moment is enough as long as i have the Mac with me. i'm mellowing down my trigger happy finger. choose then shoot.

Let's see....I have four 512 Meg Cards, One 1 Gig and Two 2Gig Cards. I use a Nikon D100 (I use the 512s for it) and the D2X (I use the 1 Gig and 2 Gig Cards for it). For the kind of images I shoot, I rarely need more than what I pack for each camera as described above. If I resume shooting models, however, that may change.
